Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion
- Age \> 18 years
- Agreement to participate
- Scheduled for elective cardiac surgery on cardiopulmonary by-pass (CPB)
Exclusion
- Age \<18 years.
- No consent
- Known allergy to heparin or protamine
- History of Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT)
- Off pump surgery
