Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion

  • 3-15 years;
  • low-energy trauma;
  • cases = radiographic fracture; controls = no fracture.

Exclusion

  • chronic renal/liver disease;
  • primary hypo-/hyperparathyroidism;
  • hypophosphatemic rickets;
  • neuromuscular disorders;
  • corticosteroids/bisphosphonates;
  • unclear diagnosis/treatment.
